Bringing Integrity to the Written Word

Changing Perceptions

We’ve received some negative feedback on the story we decided to run, but we’ve also received quite a bit of positive feedback, which reinforces my faith that there are people here who want to learn, and seek the truth. Holding to journalistic integrity has been easy for the most part, but I have to admit that I’ve felt like some people in town have been staring at, and judging, me. We’re getting a lot of hits on the web story, and I can feel the town starting to stand up and pay attention. Whether they agree with us or not, they’re listening.

My young housemate Dustin anxiously awaits the paper every wednesday, and takes the paper with him to school thursday, to read in, and sometimes to his class mates. He picks the top stories he likes, this week it’s the chinese restaurant fire and the Express open house.
