SUMMER IN THE CITY
It’s hot! Finally! The two years I spent in V Town where it never seemed to get warm are finally out of my system, as I sit in my little apartment in front of the window-mount air conditioner. I’ve spent the week looking for jobs and checking out the option to go back to school, which sounds promising.
The job hunt, however, has become so frustrating that its now funny. In the past week I have applied for a job as a book shelver at the library, selling burritos from a cart on the mall, selling trinkets at the museum, and writing stories for the premier marijuana magazine in Denver. Unfortunately, there were at least ten other people applying at the same time. I did, however, score 100% on the library alphabetizing test. Ha! Take that all you young coffee making fiends.

I know of no other way to get in touch with you these days. I have been following you through your blog. I just want you to know that I do have access to insulin. If you are ever in need of an extra bottle, please let me know. I would be so honored if you would let me help out from time to time. I miss you. You will always and forever be my dearest friend.
