About Me

Born and raised in Rural Utah, I endured the mundane life of my youth by escaping into books. From the moment I first realized the power of the written word to transport readers to far-off places, I knew writing was the only path in life for me to follow.

After successfully raising a beautiful daughter and achieving a prosperous career as a freelance news writer, I fled to Denver for the simple life of hiking, biking and writing. I moved to Colorado five years ago, after spending 15 in the print news business. With the downfall of newspapers, and more specifically the loss of integrity in mainstream journalism, I came her to rejuvenate myself and redeem my soul. I do not adhere to any single genre, and have written stories for the young, the old, and everyone in between.
